Modern Movement

The Modern Movement represents a dramatic shift n the design of buildings, away from traditional forms and construction techniques of the past and toward a new era of design.

Romanesque

The name gives it away-Romanesque architecture is based on Roman architectural elements. It is the rounded Roman arch that is the literal basis for structures built in this style.

Post Modern

Postmodernists aimed to break Modernism's hold on a design by offering something warmer, brighter and more experimental.

Art Nouveau

Artists drew inspiration from both organic and geometric forms, evolving elegant designs that united flowing, natural forms resembling the stems and blossoms of plants.
