Access Ebooks on Your Mobile Device

  • For general information, check out the Library Guide on Ebooks. On the library's homepage in the left column, there is a link titled "Ebooks." When you press the link, it will take you to the Ebook Library Guide. This guide has information, links, and instruction on the various ways you can access ebooks through LDSBC.
  • Download the EBSCO Host and Ebrary Apps to your device. Each will work with both Android and Apple.
    • To download Ebrary, search for it in either the Google Play Store or the Apple Store.  If you do not already have an Ebrary account, then you will need to create one first so that the app will work. To create an Ebrary account, you will need to first go to the LDSBC library's website, access Ebrary from the list of Databases, and then click “sign in” and “create an account”.
    • To download the EBSCO app, go to the LDSBC library's website and access EBSCO from the list of Databases. From there, you will click on the link at the bottom of the page that says, “EBSCO Host iPhone and Android applications.” Follow the directions as prompted.  The EBSCO app will also allow you to access the other ESBCO databases from your device, in addition to ebooks.
