Capitalize proper nouns and nouns used as names.
Proper nouns are the names of specific people, places, or things.
Example:
I went to Woodrow Wilson High School.
I went to high school.
Nouns that take the place of proper nouns are usually capitalized as well.
Example:
Mom, can I go to Aunt Bertha's now?
My mom says I can go to my aunt's house now. She is president of her own design company, Polka Dot Design.
